Request a wheelchair or stroller from BJ Benelux via WMO
Wmo . application
Step-by-step plan for purchasing Babyjogger Special Needs or Akces-Med buggy
Strollers, wheelchairs and buggies for children with disabilities fall under transport facilities and can be provided on the basis of the Social Support Act. Below is a clear step-by-step plan for purchasing a BJ Benelux product.
- An application for a medical aid must be submitted to the Wmo departmentof the municipality where you live.
After processing the application, the Municipality will ask you to contact the healthcare provider with which the Municipality works. With this care provider you indicate that the wish is a specific product from B.J. Benelux as a future tool. - B.J. Benelux provides – in consultation with the care supplier – the fitting of the product(s) of interest. It may be that the healthcare provider with whom your application is currently under does not yet have a relationship with us. In that case, it is possible that the healthcare provider asks to choose a medical aid from their own range. If this is the case, please contact us so that we can arrange this together with the care provider.
- During the fitting, it will be determined which Special Needs buggy is most suitable for your child. When the product is satisfactory and meets all the requirements, the consultant usually gives a positive advice to the municipality.
- When the municipality approves this advice, the chosen product with accessories will be ordered from B.J. Benelux.
